MUMBAI: Factual entertainment channel History TV18 will air the story of the Hogans who are Simaese twins on 28 April at 9 pm The two little girls, Krista and Tatiana Hogan, are destined to spend the rest of their lives with each other. There are the only surviving Siamese twins in Canada. Joined at the head and sharing a brain, these five- year- olds run, play and go down their backyard slide together, braving all odds to live a normal life.

The Hogans live in Canada and are unlike any other twins. Craniopagus twins are very rare. Born after every 2.5 million children or so, such twins seldom survive in the initial year.

The Hogan twins are even more unique as they share a key blood vessel in the brain and most unexpectedly, even some brain functions. This has given them a few extraordinary abilities. Doctors report that when one of the girls is tickled, the other jumps, and that putting a pacifier in the mouth of one child causes the other to stop crying.

But do the twins share the same thoughts? Are they two distinct personalities? Where does the consciousness rest? How connected are Krista and Tatiana? How will their life progress when they grow older?

The show answers these questions in a gripping narrative style.
