Ten Sports speeds up with show on motor sports

MUMBAI: The Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI) & Motor Sports Association of India (MAI) have unified to support Ten Sports' new season of Motorsports and the weekly show Speed.

The channel will also present exclusive coverage of Narain Karthikeyan on the Telefonica World Series. Motorsports enthusiasts can now expect more of live racing action with Ten Sports uniting the two motor racing federations.

Speed premieres on Ten Sports today at 10 pm and will be telecast every Tuesday. The weekly half-hour show will contain exclusive action from the FMSCI events such as the JK Go-Karting championship and the JK Road Racing Championship. The show will also include all the events from the MAI, including the national rally championship and motorcross events. Model turned actor Perizaad Zorabian will host the 26 episode show.

Action from the tracks, interviews with the drivers, an insight into their dreams, special features on India's racing heroes like Karun Chandok and upcoming talent, are some of the features that this exciting show promises, states the release.

TEN Sports currently also has an eclectic mix of sports programming. These include, Formula One, WWE, Classic India-Pakistan Cricket, Sharjah Cup, Sharjah Champions Trophy as well as all international cricket from Sri Lanka and many more.
