MUMBAI: Warner Bros. International Television Distribution (WBITD) has announced a couple of executive promotions for Europe. Simon Kenny has been promoted to executive VP, Europe, and Jose "Pepe" Abad has been promoted to the newly created position of senior VP, Southern Europe.
 

Kenny joined WBITD as senior VP, Europe last year. He will continue to oversee WBITD's European sales force based in London, Paris, Madrid, Rome and Munich. The London based Kenny will be responsible for television sales throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Abad has been with WBITD for eight years. He moves up from MD for Spain and Portugal. He will also oversee Italy, Greece, Turkey and Cyprus.
