MUMBAI: CASBAA's China Summit, scheduled to take place on 26 September in Shanghai, will instead be held in late November.

Citing scheduling issues, SARFT, the ministry responsible for broadcasting, asked that the summit be postponed by two months.

The CASBAA Executive office and its partners CGA and MediaView are liaising closely with SARFT for resheduling of the event.

The ninth annual CASBAA China Summit offers the opportunity to meet senior media executives from both key government agencies and emerging media conglomerates. It aims at providing a roadmap to future trends in China's Pay-TV industry, says an official release.Topics that will be up for discussion include key issues facing the cable & satellite pay-TV industry in Asia today, the role and potential of advertising in a pay-TV channel and pay TV financial models.
