MUMBAI: UK pubcaster the BBC has announced that the reality show Millionaire's Challenge has just gone into production for BBC Two. Mega-rich entrepreneurs will have to prove they still have the Midas touch by doing it all over again.
Each will be stripped of all the trappings of their luxury lifestyle and given just ?5,000 to start a new business from scratch. The show will see who comes out on top and the losers will have to have to hand over every penny they've made in the series.
Meanwhile Alan Brown is returning to the BBC as the editor, factual entertainment, after one year at independent production company Talkback Thames. He will join the department in mid-February and will be responsible for a range of factual entertainment shows. Factual Entertainment is the home of series including Dragon's Den, Honey We're Killing the Kids and Millionaire's Challenge.
