MUMBAI: Doordarshan India has won the Asia Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD) Award 2004 for the best TV programme on local children issues.
The film Evalese Rope (budding plant) was an in-house production, which highlights on child labour and education. It was produced by Mumbai Doordarshan, informs the official communiqué.
The programme was directed by Vandana Sharma. Evalese Rope has been rated as the best TV programme on local children issues.
