MUMBAI: English business news channel CNBC-TV18 will present a show titled ?Diamond Rush?.
The show will feature CNBC?s Bob Pisani travelling to some of the famous diamond mines across the globe and trying to unravel the unknown facts about diamonds.
It will air on 27 October at 9:30 pm and on 28 October at 8:30 pm.
From a journey deep inside the richest diamond mine on the planet in Africa, Pisani travels all way to the Vegas strip and gets an insider?s look at Vegas? very own diamond rush; a place where diamond patrons trade for the best rocks either to possess or to sell at the country?s largest jewellery expo, the channel said.
The channel also said Pisani?s expedition takes him to New York?s 47th Street where he obtains permission to get cameras for the first time inside the Diamond Trading Club, the stock exchange of the "lavish" diamond world. Finally he reached Arkansas, Crater of Diamond State Park, the only diamond producing mine open to diamond hunters of all ages. MUMBAI: A+E Networks|TV18, which owns factual entertainment channel HistoryTV18, has elevated Devika Dayal as national revenue head with immediate effect. Hitherto, she held the post of senior vice president.
Dayal has over a decade of experience in ad sales with stints at Zee, Discovery Communications prior to joining Network18 Group in 2005.
The move is a part of the leadership re-alignment now underway at Network18 News Media, the client facing ad sales unit which manages the advertising interests of the news and factual entertainment channels at Network18 Group. Ad sales for the ETV regional news network, subject to regulatory approvals for the acquisition, will also form part of this stable. While acting as a centralized sales agency, Network18 News Media also reflects the group‘s focus on individual brands via dedicated teams and revenue leaders aligned to each channel. Earlier, CNN-IBN, CNBC-TV18 and CNBC Awaaz have announced new National Revenue Heads as well.
