Mumbai: Lionsgate Play has announced the India premiere of the American crime drama mini-series “Dr Death” on 20 August.

The critically-acclaimed show is based on the terrifying true story of Dr Christopher Duntsch, a young and charismatic, ostensibly brilliant doctor in the Texas medical community. Created by Patrick Macmanus, it features actors Joshua Jackson, Grace Gummer, Christian Slater and Alec Baldwin in the lead roles.

With IMDb 7.7 rating, "Dr Death" has received rave reviews globally.
