Zee declares 100% dividend at AGM

MUMBAI: Zee Telefilms shareholders today approved a 100 per cent dividend (i.e. Re 1) per equity share of Re 1 each.
 
 
The members also cleared the appointment of Zee Group CMD Subhash Chandra as managing director of Asia TV Ltd, UK, a wholly owned foreign subsidiary of the Company.

Asia TV UK is the company which handles all Zee's activities in the United Kingdom. According to information in Zee's annual report for 2003-2004, at 166,000, the UK accounts for the largest subscriber base Zee has internationally.

 
ZTL also informed BSE that at today's AGM the members approved the appointment of Jawahar Goel to hold an office and place of profit as president of Siti Cable Network Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company.
