MUMBAI: MTV fans in India will see the second season of the Emmy-award winning reality sitcom The Osbournes, sometime in late November or early December.

In the US, the new season of The Osbournes will premiere on 26 November at 10:30 pm ET/PT immediately following MTV's The Real World: Las Vegas. The new season will continue where season one left off, documenting with the utmost candor the real-life drama of America's favorite rock 'n roll family.

Becoming a cultural touchstone last spring, earning MTV some of its highest ratings ever, the appeal of The Osbournes lay in its irony as much as its surreality. And the second season finds Rock's First Family coping with fame, fortune, and tragedy. MTV's cameras follow the Osbournes as they deal with Kelly's burgeoning singing career, the acquisition of numerous dogs, a trip to Washington to dine with the US president, Ozzy's hectic touring regimen, and ultimately, news that will change all of their lives forever.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the channel also said that while MTV was in discussions for a live concert with national broadcaster Doordarshan scheduled to take place in December, nothing had been finalised as yet
