MUMBAI: And so the show of outrage goes on. Pop princess Janet Jackson of the boob show at the Super Bowl fame has been dumped from this Sunday's Grammy Awards ceremony.
According to a report in People magazine, CBS, anxious to ward off criticism of the Super Bowl controversy (which aired on the same network), canceled its invitation to Jackson to appear on the show.
Michael Jackson's younger sister was to have introduced a tribute to Luther Vandross.
Pertinently, her accomplice at the Super Bowl show-it-all, pop star Justin Timberlake and the man who actually did the rip-off, is reportedly going to perform as scheduled at the Grammies.
Obviously CBS cannot get tough with the pretty boy of pop and current squeeze of Cameron Diaz since he has been nominated for five Grammies, including Album of the Year.
