Salman Khan's Being Human forays into film production

Salman Khan

MUMBAI: The latest development is that Dr. Cabbie, an upcoming venture will be presented by Salman Khan‘s Being Human Productions.

Dr. Cabbie is the story of an Indian immigrant and for Khan, it has an inherent universal appeal. The film is the heart warming journey of a young Indian doctor who migrates to Canada with the selfless ambition of healing others while beginning a new life in the land of opportunity.

The lead character discovers his true purpose and true love when he embarks upon this journey of a doctor turned cabbie. In the bargain the unemployed doctor turned cabbie becomes a local hero when he converts his taxi into a mobile clinic.

Produced by FirstTake Entertainment and Caramel Films, Dr. Cabbie stars Vinay Virmani and Adrianne Palicki.

The film, to be directed by one of Canada‘s most acclaimed director Jean-Francois Poulliot, will be released by Eros international (Indian subcontinent) and Entertainment One (Canada).
