MUMBAI: Star Pravah has introduced a new programming initiative titled ?Silver Screen?, for Sunday evenings.

As a part of this initiative, Start Pravah will telecast short stories conceptualised and created by their in-house creative team.

?Aaji Festival? is second in this series of original productions under ?Silver Screen?. It is conceptualised by the Star Pravah programming team.

Written by Jayesh Patil and directed by noted director Rahul Jadhav, ?Aaji Festival? stars actors like Nirmiti Sawant, Nikhil Ratnaparkhi and Girija Oak.

Aaji Festival will air on 10 February at 7 pm.

According to the channel, Aaji Festival is a reflection of today?s modern family, where members run after career, money and social status. It is a story based on the Pawaskars, a well-to-do but dysfunctional family where Keshav is busy with his career and his wife Sonali devotes more time in kitty parties. Their lives take a U-turn when Aaji?s sweet and sour character played by popular actress Nirmiti Sawant brings in new twists in their lives.
