    Mumbai: As the critically important Karnataka polls take place, the IBN Network has launched two special shows on its English and Hindi news channels- CNN IBN and IBN 7 to extensively cover, analyse and track the crucial poll results.

    The fate of Karnataka, which is the only BJP led state government in south India, will play a significant and decisive role in the upcoming general elections in 2014. The votes have been cast and Karnataka awaits the results eagerly.

    CNN IBN and IBN 7 will present a special counting day programming called ?Battle for Karnataka? and Mera Vote Meri Sarkar respectively.

    The programmes will bring to the viewers the most detailed analysis and minute by minute coverage of all the political drama that enfolds in Karnataka.

    CNN IBN, IBN 7 and IBN Lokmat editor-in-chief Rajdeep Sardesai said,?Through our Counting Day Special programming, we will present our viewers with the most detailed analysis of the Karnataka elections and its impact on the next year?s General Elections, as closely analysed by our team of Election analysts."

    Battle for Karanata will have a formidable team of journalists led by Sardesai, while Mera Vote Meri Sarkarwill be led by IBN 7 managing editor Ashutosh.

    The eminent journalists will be joined by acclaimed experts from the field who will provide meaningful insights into the political complexities.

    The experts include The Telegraph national affairs editor Manini Chatterjee, Dainik Divya Marathi chief editor Kumar Ketkar, well known journalists and political analysts Prabhu Chawla, Imran Qureshi and Rakesh Sinha.

    The special programming starts this Wednesday, 8 May at 7 am onward.
