MUMBAI: CBBC has commissioned two new factual entertainment shows, ‘Officially Amazing‘ from Lion Scotland and ‘How To Be Awesome At Everything‘ from CBBC Productions.

‘Officially Amazing‘, from the team behind ‘Horrible Histories‘, is a show on a mission to reveal the most fascinating record facts from around the world and beyond.

Fast paced and funny,‘ Officially Amazing‘ is full of world record information all brought to life with live action, animation and song. This will all be wrapped in comedy to deliver a funny and informative factual multi-item show.

The team of presenters from around the world will go one step further and investigate the world of records to find out how and why people, objects and animals can defy our wildest imagination and achieve the unthinkable.

As well as delving deep into the Guinness World Records archives, each show will follow a huge Guinness World Records title attempt. Viewers will meet the people behind the record, and follow them from preparation and training through to the drama of the attempt itself. Will it be Officially Amazing or Officially Agonising? Dougie Napier will be series producer with Lion‘s Joff Powell, Richard Bradley and Simon Welton as executive producers and Kez Magrie as executive producer for CBBC.

‘How To Be Awesome At Everything‘ is a 10 episode 15 minute show developed and produced by the in-house team at CBBC Productions. The show aims to be a one-stop shop for all the facts on how to do more cool stuff.

Whether it‘s how to juggle, outswim a great white shark, or survive in outer space ‘How To Be Awesome At Everything‘ has all the answers. Each episode has a number of quick, unpredictable, lessons in ‘awesome‘ from familiar CBBC faces and a host of celebrity experts.

Each episode will be edited down to 2-3 minute shorts so CBBC viewers can have a short blast at being ‘awesome‘ between their favourite shows.
