Madagascar 3 still reigns overseas box office

MUMBAI: ?Three Blind Saints?, the family-friendly comedy about three childhood friends scheming to make it big, has signed a deal with FilmWorks Entertainment Inc. for worldwide distribution.
The US release is set just in time for Thanksgiving and the film will be available on DVD, digital and video-on-demand on 20 November. International sales efforts will begin this October at the television trade event Mipcom, which will be held in Cannes, France.
FilmWorks Entertainment is an independent film, television, and specialty programme distribution company. Established by film makers for film makers, FilmWorks acquires, produces and releases programming worldwide across all platforms.
It is the story of three guys whose road trip turns into a jail sentence. Pretending to get saved, their scheme backfires when the judge assigns them to a local church for community service. When corruption is discovered, it?s up to the guys to rise to the occasion and prove they have what it takes to do the right thing in this hilarious fish-out-of-water tale.
Executive producer and writer of the film, Steven J. Gray is pleased to partner with FilmWorks Entertainment for distribution. Many of Gray?s church congregation worked alongside cast and crew from Hollywood for the filming of the movie shot in the Lee?s Summit and Kansas City areas.
MUMBAI: Jerome Delhaye has been named Reed Mdiem director of the entertainment division.
Delhaye will oversee the business and strategic development of Reed Midem, which organises markets like Mipcom and MipTV in Cannes, France.
Reed Midem Television Division director Laurine Garaude and Reed Midem director of music markets Bruno Crolot will report directly to Delhaye.

Veteran American English-language soccer commentator Phil Schoen has joined beIN Sports USA. Schoen is expected to continue as the English-language voice of La Liga in the USA, when beIN Sports USA launches.
MUMBAI: Uefa said Wednesday it has reached agreement with TF1, M6 and beIN Sport for the media rights for the forthcoming Uefa Euro 2012 and Uefa Euro 2016 in France.
TF1 and M6 will share the free-to-air coverage of 19 live matches for Uefa Euro 2012 and 22 live matches for Uefa Euro 2016. These matches will include the opening match, all French national team matches, knock-out stage matches and the final for both tournaments.
beIN Sport will be the home of the Uefa European Football Championships by covering the two competitions in their entirety and showing all matches from Uefa Euro 2012 and 2016.
Magazines and highlights programmes will also be broadcast on the beIN Sport channels leading up and during the tournament, meaning that football fans in France will be offered an extensive and innovative broadcast platform to watch both competitions.
All matches will also be available online and on-the-move through the broadcasters? digital media outlets.
Uefa Events SA Marketing Director Guy-Laurent Epstein said, "TF1 and M6 have experience in broadcasting national team football and UEFA European Football Championships while beIN Sport will offer a wide and qualitative coverage of both tournaments.
