KOLKATA: Zee5 India has promoted Manish Kalra to the position of chief business officer. Kalra joined the platform back in May 2020.
Earlier, he was working as AVoD SVP and business head. Now, he will now be responsible for overall SVoD and AVoD business. He will lead user acquisition strategy, customer retention, partnerships-alliances to drive the overall growth.
Kalra brings with him an experience of over 20 years in the online business and marketing space. He has worked across brands like ITC, PepsiCo, Dell, MakeMyTrip, Amazon.
He holds a master’s in business administration from XLRI, Jamshedpur and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh.
