TCS chief wins CNBC's Asia Business Leader Awards 2002

Mumbai: For the second year in a row, an Indian has won the Asia Business Leader Award.

The award has been instituted by business channel CNBC and this year's winners were announced at a ceremony at The Grand Hyatt Hong Kong.

CNBC declared S Ramadorai, CEO of Tata Consultancy Services, as the Asia Business Leader of 2002. The other winners were Neil Montefiore, CEO of MobileOne (Asia), who received Innovator of the Year award. B Ramalinga Raju, chairman of Satyam Computer Services got the Corporate Citizen of the Year award and Jong-Yong Yun, CEO of Samsung Electronics Ltd received the CEOs Choice Award.

This is the second time in succession that an Indian has won the award. Last year's award went to ICICI's KV Kamat.
