MUMBAI: Sony Pal emerged as the new player bagging tenth position by replacing Star Utsav, in urban areas. In Hindi GEC (U+R) Sony Pal and &TV swapped their ninth and tenth positions respectively, according to the Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) data for week 18 of 2019. In rural areas, Star Utsav bagged tenth position by replacing DD National as compared to the previous week.
Hindi GEC (U+R)
Dangal TV, Big Magic, Star Plus, Zee TV, Colors, Sony Entertainment Television, Sony Sab and Star Bharat retained their first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth positions respectively. Sony Pal and &TV swapped their ninth and tenth psotion respectively as compared to the previous week.
Hindi Rural GEC
In rural areas, Dangal TV, Big magic, Zee TV, Star Plus, Colors managed to hold on to their first, second, third, fourth and fifth positions respectively. Sony Sab and Sony entertainment Television interchanged their sixth and seventh positions respectively as compared to the previous week. Star Bharat and Sony Pal continued to be on the eighth and ninth positions respectively. Star Utsav bagged tenth position by replacing DD National as compared to the previous week.
Hindi Urban GEC
In urban areas, Star Plus retained its first position. Sony Entertainment Television climbed a slot from third to second position as compared to the previous. Colors that stood on number fourth last week, jumped to the third position this week. Zee TV stood at fifth position that was on second position last week. Dangal, Star Bharat, Big Magic, &TV retained their sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth positions respectively. Sony Pal emerged as the new player that bagged tenth position by replacing Star Utsav.
