No changes in Hindi GEC (U+R), rural areas in BARC week 17

In urban areas, Star Plus retained its first position

BARC week 17

MUMBAI: In Hindi GEC (U+R) and rural areas, no changes were observed as compared to week 16 according to the Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) data for week 17 of 2019. In urban areas, Zee TV climbed to the second slot from fourth as compared to the previous week.

Hindi GEC (U+R)

No changes were observed this week. Dangal TV, Big Magic, Star Plus, Zee TV, Colors, Sony Entertainment Television, Sony Sab, Star Bharat, &TV and Sony Pal retained their first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth positions respectively.

Hindi Rural GEC

In rural areas also, no changes were observed. Dangal TV, Big magic, Zee TV, Star Plus, Colors, Sony Entertainment Television, Sony Sab, Star Bharat, Sony Pal and DD National continued to be in first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth positions respectively.

Hindi Urban GEC

 In urban areas also, Star Plus retained its first position followed by Zee TV on the second position that was on the fourth position in the previous week. Sony Entertainment Television stood at third position, followed by Colors on the fourth position. Sony Sab, Dangal, Star Bharat, Big Magic, &TV and Star Utsav retained their fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth positions respectively.
