NEW DELHI: DD Bharati will telecast live the Khajuraho Dance Festival later this week.
The telecast will be from 20 to 26 February from 7 pm to 11 pm, with a repeat telecast on the next day.
The week-long International Dance Festival will be held against the spectacular backdrop of the magnificently lit Khajuraho temples, which stand a testimony to the glorious past of India's cultural richness.
The Khajuraho Dance Festival 2016 will highlight the grandeur of many Indian classical dance styles such as Kathak, Bharathanatyam, Odissi, Kuchipudi, Manipuri and also contemporary dance form with performances by artists of world fame.
Many renowned dance groups will be participating in the festival. Khajuraho Festival of Dances is celebrated at a time when the hardness of winter begins to fade and the king of all seasons, spring, takes over.
