MUMBAI: Dish Asia Network from France, which broadcasts Tamil channels from outside of India, has joined hands with dishtv, for distribution of its channels in the country. The three new channels from the DAN Netwok- DAN Music, DAN Cinema and DAN Ozhi would be distributed as part of Basic package for Tamil language.

Announcing this, dishtv CEO Sunil Khanna said "We are pleased to broadcast these Tamil channels to consumers on dishtv platform. Inclusion of these three channels from the DAN Network strengthens the Tamil entertainment on dishtv."

On the occasion, Dish Asia Network MD, Manivel Malone quoted- "As we are launching a bouquet of three Tamil channels in India, we are delighted that from the beginning we are also distributed by Dish TV. Through our channels we are committed to provide best of entertainment in Tamil language, some of which is never seen before on the small screen."

Speaking on the tie-up, Manivel said, "In a short span of time dishtv has shown impressive growth in penetration and has emerged as the largest distribution platform in terms of number of channels carried as well. Thus, it is the best platform to reach out maximum viewers in the country".
