NEW DELHI: Apurva Purohit, COO of the Times Group's non-fiction lifestyle and entertainment channel Zoom, has put in her papers.

Purohit, who resigned from her position as COO Television Division Times Entertainment yesterday, will be taking up a new assignment as CEO of a media company.
 
 

Speaking to indiantelevision.com about the time she spent heading the first channel from the Times Group, Purohit says, "It has been a great stint at Zoom and now I am looking forward to a new challenge."

Before Zoom, Purohit was president of Zee TV. She joined Subhash Chandra's flagship channel in mid-2002 from Lodestar Media, where she was media director.
