Twists in the tales on Star Plus

Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand,

MUMBAI: 'Change is always constant',as far as Star Plus is concerned.

After the launch of six new shows in January 2003, Star Plus is now focussing on revamping the existing shows to keep loyal viewers happy and looking out for more.

Kyunki .... , Kahaani... and Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand, the three soaps which garner enviable TRPs for the channel, "are heading for dramatic twists and turns in their storyline" say Star officials.

Interestingly, Des Mein....., the weekly on Star Plus has adorned a new look in terms of montage and is headed for an unexpected twist in storyline.

Reliable sources confirm that the male lead, Dev (played by Varun Badola) who is torn between love for his wife Pammi (played by Sangeeta Ghosh) and Anu's ( played by Sweta Keswani) gameplan will die, thus giving an unexpected turnaround to the serial.

"The audience is in for a big surprise. I am thoroughly enjoying my role in Des Mein ...... as it's going to undergo a dramatic change," said Sweta Keswani who refused to divulge further details.

Kyunki .... and Kahaani ... too, as reported earlier are headed for an overhaul. Kyunki has already moved to Australian shores and a few upheavals in the lives of central characters are in the pipeline. Though one can slate the so called 'dramatic twists in storyline' as attempts to lure viewers during the World Cup, only time will tell if they succeed. However , presently the strategy adopted by the channel seems to be working to its benefit.
