MUMBAI: Punjabi mundas - Josh who shot to fame with their bhangra track on Nelly Furtado's song Powerless are all set to rock MTV the whole of March.

The Josh duo Rupinder Magon aka Rup and Qurram Hussain aka Q have been chosen as MTV artists of the month.

Viewers can get a complete download, history and geography on this Canadian Bhangra duo and their various collaborations with Sukhbir, Apache Indian and Nelly Furtado on the MTV Alert - Josh Naal - special on 11 March at 5:00 pm.

An introspection on the band - their life, music, philosophies, success personal take on Bollywood on the MTV Alert - Josh Naal - special on 21 March at 2:00 pm with repeats on 26 March at 5:00 pm and 28 March at 12:30 pm.

Rup and Q made their debut with Main Hoon Tanha a single that they performed at the International Bollywood Awards. Since then they've been gigging around Manhattan clubs and have completed a Canadian tour with Panjabi MC.

Over the span of last two years, Josh performed numerous shows, gaining quite a large fan club. Riding on this wave of hot new act Josh is cashing in by releasing its second album J2. Their first album Within, received success in their local markets.
