The Brief, a fortnightly published by the Mumbai-based Mid-Day group, and BBC World are organising a two-day media seminar on 28 June and 29 June called "Mediamorphosis".
The seminar covers the status of the media today, the changes that are taking place, its implications and the new challenges that have been thrown up. The organisers claim that the seminar will be a much bigger event this time round than last year's Mediamorphosis 2000.
The event, to be held in south Mumbai's Taj Mahal hotel, covers the following topics: Media Convergence, Role of Media Shops and Buyers, Future of Dotcoms, Media Innovations, Advertiser's Perspective to New Media, Media Challenges from Creative Directors' Standpoint, Media Research Tools, New Media Revolution, managing Media with the Ever Changing Consumer, The New Age Content Head and two panel discussions on - The Future of the Dotcom Industry and The Adequacy/Inadequacy of Media Research in its Current Form.
