MUMBAI: ImaginAsian Entertainment, a newly formed media entertainment company providing cross-platform entertainment, recently appointed Anil Srivatsa as senior vice president of affiliate sales and operations.
Srivatsa will be based in New York and will oversee distribution, operations and advertising sales for ImaginAsian TV, the recently announced 24-hour Asian American television network. The announcement was made by ImaginAsian Entertainment, Inc. CEO Michael Hong.

Srivatsa previously served as head of marketing and public relations at RTV UK. As part of the management team, he was involved in new business development and strategic planning for the growth and financial structure of RTV UKs private placement offerings.
Prior to RTV, Srivatsa worked for Kelly Broadcasting Systems where he oversaw the creation and development of the Cricket Channel.
From 1994 to 1997, Srivatsa worked in production at Medstar Television as a researcher for a syndicated health information show. While there, he became head of production for the Cable Ace nominated documentary show Medical Detectives, which aired on The Learning Channel.
A graduate of the Masters program in Telecommunications at Kutztown University, Srivatsa also airs his own syndicated radio show, which he started in 1997 as a Masters thesis project. Currently, his show is the largest syndicated South Asian radio show in America, broadcasting in over 50 cities, in six markets, earning it a place in the Limca Book of Records.
