MUMBAI: A new series of the panel discussion programme Question Time India has begun on BBC World.
New presenter Dileep Padgaonkar will be inviting India's top politicians and personalities to analyse and debate the leading stories each week as the country prepares for the general elections, due to be held later this year. Dileep has worked for The Times of India for a total of 24 years, starting as a foreign correspondent in Paris and working up to become Editor in 1988. He continues to be a Consulting Editor and is still one of the newspaper's regular columnists.
The new series kicked off last night (Friday 6 February) at 10 pm.
