America Online partners with The Latin Recording Academy for Latin Grammy awards

Latin Grammy awards

America Online and the Latin Recording Academy have announced that AOL Music will be the exclusive online partner for the Latin Grammy Awards.

Beginning with the third Annual Latin Grammy Awards ceremony, AOL's over 34 million members worldwide and Internet audience will have the opportunity to experience the excitement of the world's premier Latin music awards ceremony through unique programming and promotions that will be available across AOL Music's leading music properties and www.grammy.com.

As part of the exclusive, multi-year agreement, Latin music fans will have a virtual "all access pass" to Latin Grammy related music, contests and polls. Exclusive programming and promotions are set to kick off following the announcement of the nominees today on the AOL Service at AOL Keyword: Latin Grammy.

According to an official release, this agreement builds on an existing relationship between America Online, Inc. and the Recording Academy that kicked off with the 44th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony in February this year.

The third Annual Latin Grammy Awards will be held at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood on 18 September . The show will be broadcast by the CBS Television Network from 9 to 11 pm ET/PT. The Latin Grammys will present awards in 41 key categories covering many genres and sub-genres of Latin music.
