MUMBAI: Star India's music arm Channel [V] is all set to launch Pepsi [V] TV Champions. The initiative gives participants one minute on air to express their creative capabilities.
Announcing the launch, Channel [V] head honcho Amar K Deb says, "[V] believes that today’s youth know what they want and they don’t want to be governed by rules. They want to do their own thing and express themselves the way they want to."
Pepsi [V] TV Champions, the eight episodes show scheduled to go on air in June, will kick start its audition from May with the aim to find one 'champion' who has got the spirit to go on television and get extra eyeballs by use of their creative skills, states an official release.
The desired participants have to visit the nearest Reliance Web World or log onto vindia.com and upload their respective photographs and profile.
Around 300 participants will be shortlisted from across the country. The audition will take place at Mumbai, New Delhi and Bangalore and 14 finalists will eventually get their shot at fame. The onus of choosing the right talents rests with viewers.
