The 15th IFTDA Masterclass played host to renowned singer-composer, Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma, of the Laxmikant Pyarelal duo, who was the guest speaker.

With a house full auditorium the enriching session turned out to be quite a musical one, moderated by music maestro Salim Merchant.

While Pyarelal Ji threw light on the music era of the 60's 70's and 80's recollecting fun filled stories of working with legends of his time such as Laxmikant, RD Burman, Mohammed Rafi and Kishore Kumar, he also interacted with aspiring musicians, singers and film students advising them on the art of composing music.

What stole the show was Pyarelal Ji's live performance on the piano and the violin singing classics like "ek pyaar ka Nagma hai, lagja gale etc.
