MUMBAI: The Walt Disney Company has acquired Kerpoof, which is a web-based creative design suite for kids. Kerpoof crafts online tools that can be used by children to make artwork, write stories and generate short films. As part of the acquisition deal, Kerpoof will continue to operate in online portal Kerpoof.com while the company’s technology will be incorporated onto Disney’s homepage. |
Disney’s online Kerpoof studios will be headed by Kerpoof co-founder Krista Marks who has been named general manager and will be based in Colorado. The financial terms of the deal remained undisclosed. |
