PVR screens ‘Jumbo’ for children

MUMBAI: As a part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR), PVR Cinemas hosted a special screening of the animation movie Jumbo for over 150 underprivileged children at PVR Premiere in Saket, Delhi on 6 Jaunuary.

Jumbo, a Percept Pictures production, is the journey of the eight-year-old boy elephant whose life revolves around the pursuit to find real purpose in his little world. It tells the adventures of Jaiveer aka Jumbo and his dreams of following Yudhveer, his absent father, and becoming the royal elephant.

PVR head- CSR Deepa Menon said, “It is our continuous endevour to bring smiles on children’s faces. With this film festival we aim to introduce fun especially to our kids to have a wonderful New Year. We wish a very Happy New Year to all the children.”

The cinema chain also held an interactive session as a part of the initiative.
