MUMBAI: Disney Channel‘s John Hardie, who until now was executive VP and managing director of Disney channels Europe, Middle East and Africa, has now been tapped to head Jetix Europe as the chief executive officer. Hardie will replace Paul Taylor with immediate effect and will continue to retain his present post as executive VP and managing director. |

Jetix Europe chairman-supervisory board Andy Bird said, " Taylor has done a good job in his four years tenure and we wish him the best for his future." It is pertinent to note that the change comes after Disney’s announcement in December that it intends to up its stake in Jetix Europe from 75 per cent to 100 per cent. |
