MUMBAI: For the upcoming Disney feature film Pirates of the Caribbean: At World‘s End, Buena Vista Pictures‘ online marketing department has unveiled a new way to talk to Pirate fans with a special online interactive feature called the "Piratizer." The official MySpace profile page for the movie http://myspace.com/AtWorldsEnd allows users to send in a single photo of themselves and get back an animated 3-D version along with accessories including hats, scars, tattoos, jewelry. Moreover, fans sporting the Pirate avatar are even able to talk like a pirate. According to an official release, over 80,000 fans have been ‘Piratized‘ in less than a week. |
