MUMBAI: The Boondocks, a popular animated series created by Aaron McGruder, is ready to set foot on television after a nearly three-year gap.
According to Vibe.com, the third season of the series is expected to launch in early 2010.
The controversial comic strip that was tuned in for television in 2005 ran for two seasons on Cartoon Network before its three-year lull period.
The Boondocks is a social satire of American culture and race relations (or stereotypes in the world), revolving around the lives of the Freeman family: 10-year-old Huey, his younger brother, eight-year-old Riley, and their grandfather, Robert.
