Star Plus launches a 'sneak-peek' show

MUMBAI: All that you wanted to know but didn't know whom to ask, till now.

Star Plus is all set to launch a new show on Saturday 22 May at 7:30 pm-Pardey Ke Peechey's base line. The show will offer a sneak preview of the glitz, glamour, trivia and trends of TV industry.

Touted as the first television show that caters to the television industry, the new show will get the viewers up close and personal with the actors that have become a part of the Star network, says a company release.

To be anchored by Kyun Hota Hai Pyarrr fame Sweta Gulati and Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand's Romanchak, the show will update viewers every week, on the latest news, views, about the television industry.

Produced by Contiloe Films, the weekly aims to bring viewers close to their stars. The release claims that it is the only show of its kind where stars tell their stories, reel and real, interspersed with the latest happenings, news, launches, debuts, on Indian television in a perfect glossy magazine format.

The show will offer glimpse of successful star's lives-- what happens once they are out of the studios, their lifestyle, family, fashion, trivia, trends, a day in the life of a star.

The channel, to encourage the interactivity, will also launch several contests. The participants can SMS 7827 and win fabulous prizes every week. The prizes include an exclusive visit on their favourite celebrity's set.

Alternatively, viewers can also SMS and request for their favourite star interviews and some specials that they like.

The show will take the audience to the star's homes. Audience can watch the stars as they spend some time with their families, or are relaxing and socialising, adds the release.

The show will also provide comprehensive coverage of bloopers and some candid footage as well.
