MUMBAI: The fashion channel under the Zee bouquet Trendz TV won't end its exploration of the localised content with Diabolical, the fashion and lifestyle show it has recently launched. The channel will be launching four to five shows, based on the local content, by the end of this year.
The first one from this line up will be launched in September October.
According to Trendz TV president Abhijit Saxena, the excitement Diabolical created in the market has lured the advertisers to the channel now.
"Earlier we had to approach the advertisers to sell our programmes. Now, after seeing shows like Diabolical, the advertisers are taking the initiative to get associated with us."
Saxena pointed out that Trendz TV is the first fashion and lifestyle channel which has managed to have Indian ads.
He added that for the upcoming shows, the channel would be tapping independent producers as well, other than prominent production houses.
