MUMBAI: The Viacom Inc.- owned CBS has its gameplan in place to battle ABC's super hit series Desperate Housewives. The channel has lined up a series of TV movies about vampire bats, mass murderers, bomb scares and Martha Stewart.
 

CBS Entertainment president Nina Tassler has been quoted in media reports as saying that, the channel was turning to "popcorn movies" and "high-concept" thrillers Sundays to challenge Desperate Housewives, the number one new series on US television last season.
 
 

"We know we are up against a juggernaut on Sunday nights, so we have to adjust our strategy," Tassler said while opening her first summer showcase of upcoming programs since assuming the new post.
