MUMBAI: Canadian-based media and entertainment company Corus Entertainment and cloud-based content management system Agility CMS have announced the launch of the Agility-managed Own: Oprah Winfrey Network Canada website.

The new site includes content from US and new Canadian shows that are now offered to Canadians.
 
Canadian viewers can find all information of the Own channel shows on the official Own Canadian website. The new site redirects users to the new site ownca.oprah.com via Geo Location, and integrates Facebook Like and Fanbox widgets that are linked to US content.

Corus Entertainment Technical Project Manager Allan Tanaka said, “The Own site launched without any major problems and all stakeholders were very satisfied with the final product. The site itself had many variances in template layouts which Agility was able to capture. We can now easily update all of our content and we have the flexibility to customize many of our pages and templates, all within Agility.” 
 
Agility CMS project manager Chuck Lee said, “By working in tandem with the Corus content team, we were able to not only push out content faster but were ready for launch a full day before Go Live”.

The site is now live at ownca.oprah.com.
