Nab Show attendance up

MUMBAI: The National Association of Broadcasters (Nab) in the US released its attendance figures for the 2011 Nab Show. The event covered filmed entertainment and the development, management and delivery of content across all mediums.
 
There were 92,708 attendees compared to 88,044 people last year.

Nab executive VP Dennis Wharton said, "Content professionals from around the globe flock to the Nab Show every year, and this year was no exception. We‘re thrilled to host the largest media and entertainment convention annually, and delighted that the NAB Show remains the premiere event for the industry."
 
This time there were 25,691 attendees from abroad. 151 countreis were represented, an official statement said. There were 1314 people from news media organisations.
