MUMBAI: Banff World Television Festival in partnership with Reed Midem will present Commissioning Outlook 2010.
This is a breakfast workshop series and takes place at the television event Mipcom 2005 from 17-20 October 2005 in Cannes, France.
Programme Commissioning Outlook 2010 features international television commissioners who will examine the issues defining programme commissioning over the next half decade. The workshops will be presented as a breakfast series of four interactive panels. A final Wrap-Up Panel will feature industry leaders discussing the five burning issues that will affect the future of television programming.
Panellists will include ZDF German Television's Nicole Keeb, National Geographic Television & Film's Michael Rosenfeld and FremantleMedia's Gary Carter.
Banff World Television Festival CEO Robert Montgomery says, "We are thrilled to be partnering with Reed Midem to produce this series. Connecting decision-makers with producers is our main focus, and facilitating this at such a prestigious market is a win-win for everyone. Programme Commissioning Outlook 2010 promises to provide both commissioners and creators the insight required to develop innovative, audience driven stories over the next five years."
The Banff World Television Festival takes place from 11-14 June 2006 in Canada.
