Danette Herman is coordinating producer for Oscar Telecast

MUMBAI: Danette Herman has been named coordinating producer for the 85th Academy Awards, telecast producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron announced. This is Hollywood?s highest honour.

The show will air on Star Movies on 25 February 2013.

The nominations will be announced on 10 January. The Oscar presentation also will be televised live in more than 225 countries worldwide including in the US on ABC.

Zadan and Meron said, "Danette has just the right combination of relationships and instincts for the job. We are extremely pleased that she has agreed to be a part of the 85th Academy Awards team."

Herman has been associated with the Academy Awards? telecast for more than 37 years. Her most recent credits include co-producer of ?The 64th Primetime Emmy Awards? and in December will again serve as coordinating producer for ?The Kennedy Center Honours?.

Meanwhile to qualify in the animated film category for the 85th Academy Awards, filmmakers must submit entry forms and supporting materials to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences by 1 November.
