Yashwant Intl film fest in Mumbai from 20 January

MUMBAI: The Yashwant International Film Festival that throws open a feast of several international movies, will be conducted in Mumbai from 20-26 January at the Yashwantrao Chavan Pratishthan, Nariman Point.

In its second year, the film festival has been convened with the joint support of the Pune Film Foundation and the State Government of Maharashtra.

All the films that have participated in the ‘Competition’ section of the recently held Pune International Films Festival have been incorporated in this festival along with few other select Marathi films that would be available for aficionados to relish according to their tastes.
 
50 films including few small ones shall be screened in this festival.

The festival, which will begin with the screening of the Polish film Black Thursday, will conclude with the screening of the film that wins the coveted award of a best Marathi feature film in the Pune International Films Festival concluding on 19 January.
