Three Indian docs in Amsterdam fest

MUMBAI: Three documentaries from India are set to grace the ongoing 24th International Documentary Film Festival, Amsterdam in its non-competetive section: ‘Reflecting Images-Panorama‘.

Amlan Datta‘s BOM, an Indian-Japan co-production is a film about the filmmaker‘s visits to his adoptive family in Malana, a remote mountain village near the border of Tibet and his discoveries.

The Miriam Chandy Menacherry-directed The Rat Race by is a documentary about the night rat killers who take to the streets every night in Mumbai.

And finally, the Balaka Ghosh- directed Red Fairy n the Holy Ghost is a documentary about an Indian woman‘s struggle for women who get accused of witchcraft.

The 12-day long fest will end on 27 November.
