Time to launch all its magazines on tablet

MUMBAI : US magazine publisher Time Inc. plans to offer a tablet edition for all 21 of its magazines before the end of 2011.

This move will make Time the first major publisher to offer all its editions across all mediums.
 
Time already has tablet editions for four of its titles -- Sports Illustrated, Time, Fortune and People – and now the remaining 17, including InStyle and Entertainment Weekly, will be made available.

Time Inc executive Maurice Edelson said: "Now is the time for us to make this bold commitment. In the coming year, there will clearly be many more consumers using tablets, accelerating demand for content and driving advertiser interest."
