MUMBAI: Soon after Kamal Haasan showed his intention to remake the Malayalam hit Traffic in Tamil, it has also come to light that the film will also be remade into Hindi under the banner of Endemol India.

The Hindi film will star Sunny Deol, Jimmy Shergil, Nana Patekar and Imad Shah. According to sources, a leading Malayalam actor will appear in a cameo.

The film is an edge-seated thriller set in different backdrops that revolves around parallel stories in which the characters are linked through unpredictable connections.

While both the films would be directed by Rajesh Pillai, the Tamil version will have Kamal Haasan in the role of Rahman. The rest of the star cast of the Malayalam film has been retained for the Tamil version.

The Hindi film is expected to go on the floors in August.
