Directorate of Film Festivals organises national film fest

MUMBAI: The Directorate of Film Festivals, affiliated to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (I&B), has organised a national film festival from 17 June to 16 July in New Delhi.

Twenty three feature and 19 non-feature films that won Rajat Kamal or Swarna Kamal awards would be screened at the festival where all the National Award winning films of 2010 would be shown at the Siri Fort Auditorium.

The 58th National Film Awards, that were announced last month, are to be given away in the month of August.

While Abhinav Kashyap‘s Dabaang will open the Feature category, Pistulya, directed by Nagraj Manjule, will open the Non-Feature category. These films will be screened only on weekends.
