J P Dutta plans sequel of Border

MUMBAI: Having made films like LOC: Kargil, Refugee and Border among
others, J P Dutta has established himself as a master in making film of the war genre.

The one time assistant to Raj Kapoor is now in plans to make a sequel of his ’97 film Border and has sought permission from the Defence Ministry to re-erect the Indo-Pak war of 1971 that will highlight on India and Pakistan’s estranged political relationship.
The film will highlight second Lieutenant Arun Khetrapal who is believed to have played a major role and received the Param Veer Chakra for the same.
