Don director Barot to make comeback with two films

MUMBAI: Three decades after he made the Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Don in 1978, director Chandra Barot is on a comeback trail.

Known to be an apt hand at the thriller-action genre, Barot will now make his comeback with a comedy. The film in mention is titled Neil Ko Pakadna and will be produced by his wife Deepa and presented by Anup Jalota.

Besides Neil Ko Pakadna, Barot will make his actual comeback with an action-thriller that will be along the lines of Don. "The script is ready; it‘s just called the ‘Hong Kong vaali script‘ at present. But it needs a superstar to carry it off. And I‘m hoping it can surpass even Don,” says the director in a report.

Sources say that the second film would be a spy drama. In fact, Barot wants to shoot his spy-based film in Hong Kong as he knows that there are a lot of facilities available for filming in South East Asia. Barot is on the lookout for newcomers whom he intends casting in the main roles as he does not want to suffer from star tantrums.
